Cyber School

I’m currently enrolled in PaCyber . It’s a cyber charter school. I couldn’t be happier with it. It offers me many more classes then my old school did, and I’m able to work at my own pace. I’ve been told that I may have problems getting in to college because I haven’t really been going to a physical school and that somehow is a bad thing. I think people who go to cyber school should have a better chance at college. People who attend cyber school and do well show great determination, dedication and independence. Cyber school isn’t easy. It takes a lot of self-discipline waking up every morning and doing a reasonable amount of work. I’ve been taking a lot of classes that weren’t available to me at my old school. They are also quite difficult classes. Last year I took a class on business and personal law. I recommend it to anyone. It gives a great overview of the law. This year I’ve already taken Psychology, and am going to be taking Sociology for the second half of the year. Next year in science I’m taking 4, 9 week classes. One on epidemiology, stem cell research, forensics, and genetics. I’m also taking a class on world religions, and one on 1960’s America. In 12th grade I’m taking a career exploration class, along with a year of civics. I’m definitely taking other classes, but those are the ones that stand out. On top of all of that, I’m taking a college course in 11th grade, and one in 12th grade. I think I’m a prime candidate for an excellent college. I’m not really sure what college I want to go to. I’m not even sure what I want to major in quite yet. So that’s why I decided to try everything. Oh and my language of choice is French. I’ve been recommended to a few colleges, but most of them just seem too expensive so I’m hoping I get a scholarship or something. The Art Institute of Pittsburgh actually sent me a letter asking me to come to their school and they’d pay for 60% of all tuition costs. That would be great if I actually wanted to do anything at that school. I’m not sure what I want to do quite yet, but I do have a few years to figure it all out. So I’m not too worried about it yet.
